LOUDER is a feminist community and digital magazine that focuses on stories about women for women.

Our vision is to emphasise the role of women across the globe by sharing their stories. Whether that be through news insights, deciphering pop culture trends, analysing media, or publishing an article that is told from a woman’s perspective.

We publish pieces that challenge and inspire; that are witty and clever; that sting and bite; that are unafraid to speak up or speak out.

Write for us

Please submit your stories to louder.stories@gmail.com with a short description of the work you are submitting, and the work attached as a Word doc. Feel free to pitch ideas for work that is not yet complete. Submissions are open year round.

What we publish

Culture

All things entertainment and pop culture: the latest movies, books, TV shows, music and performances. We don’t want to read about how Justin Bieber’s new album pays homage to second wave feminism (not like that would ever happen), but we do want a stellar review of Greta Gerwig’s new flick.

Life

We love hearing what you have to say. About what, you may ask – well anything! Send us your opinion pieces, personal essays, or interviews on people, life, relationships, or health & wellbeing.

Travel

Travel guides for solo female travellers, best places to stay, safe spaces abroad – we’ve got the low down on how to have the ultimate trip without the added anxiety of whether your destination is safe or not.

Got a story that doesn’t quite fit into one of the above categories? Send it anyway, we’re always looking to expand our content to encompass a broader scope of work and ideas.
